Poem: Don’t Fall into the Reincarnation Trap

Don’t fall into the reincarnation trap,
That golden lie wrapped in a velvet nap.
A wheel they say, that spins your soul anew—
But who keeps spinning it? And who spins you?

They whisper tales of karma’s tight-spun thread,
Of lessons unlearned, of debts of the dead.
But tell me—when did you sign that old pact?
Who said you must come back, and come back?

A child is born with cries and clenched fists—
No memory of past-life alchemists.
Yet priests and mystics insist it’s your fate,
That suffering now means you once chose hate.

A cosmic game, with rules none recall,
Where kings and beggars stumble and fall.
Round and round—like a rigged roulette wheel,
Your pain repackaged as some grand ideal.

Don’t fall for chains dressed up as choice,
Or echo chambers called your “soul’s own voice.”
Not every light at death’s cold door
Leads to truth—or freedom—or more.

Ask who profits when you reincarnate—
Who feeds on faith, and seals the gate?
A prison’s a prison, though veiled in grace,
If you’re trapped by lies in time and space.

So when the light comes, don’t go blind,
Remember this: You’re not confined.
Step off the wheel, refuse the spin,
You’ve nothing to prove, no game to win.

Don’t fall for tales that keep you asleep,
That harvest your soul for secrets they keep.
You’re not a lesson. You’re not a test.
You’re not a pawn in their cosmic jest.

You are the silence beyond the form,
The eye of the storm, untouched by the storm.
So break the cycle, shatter the map—
And don’t fall into the reincarnation trap.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
