Poem: Follow the Path of Your Soul

Follow the path of your soul, not the crowd,
Where the whispers are soft, but the heart is loud.
Beyond every echo of fear and control—
There lies the true calling that makes you whole.

Wander the woods where logic won’t go,
Chasing the rivers that silently know
The weight of your dreams, the ache in your chest,
The longing for meaning, the hunger for rest.

It won’t always shimmer, it won’t always shine—
Sometimes the sacred is tangled in twine.
Sometimes the light is a flickering thread
In nights full of silence, alone with your dread.

But trust in the compass that’s buried within,
It knows where you’ve been, it knows where you’ll begin.
No map in your pocket, no stars to console—
Just trust, and keep walking the path of your soul.

Let the world wonder, let time unfold,
Let your truth be quiet, defiant, bold.
For the soul does not shout, it sings in the deep—
And its voice is the promise your heart swore to keep.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
