You Soul Lights the Way
In shadows deep, when hope feels thin,
And storms arise from realms within,
A quiet spark begins to play—
You soul, alight, it lights the way.
Not torch nor flame, yet fierce and kind,
A beacon through the fog of mind.
No map could mark, no star could say
The path as true as you soul’s way.
When doubts like winter winds descend,
And even time forgets to mend,
Still shines that glow, soft as a prayer,
You soul remains, forever there.
It does not boast, it does not sway,
It simply shines—day after day.
A steady fire none can betray,
You soul, my guide, it lights the way.
So walk, though night may press you low—
You carry suns the dark can’t know.
And every step, though fraught or gray,
You soul, undimmed, will light the way.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,
Brenda Marie
