Beneath the skin, beyond the bone,
Where silence hums its ancient tone,
There burns a fire none can see—
The soul’s own wild eternity.
Not fed by wood, nor stirred by wind,
It rises where the dreams begin.
A spark of stars, a breath of night,
It dances fierce, it pulses bright.
It lights the path when eyes go blind,
It warms the corners of the mind.
Through grief and joy, through loss and grace,
It carves its truth in time and space.
No storm can drown it, no cold can still,
The flame that bends to no one’s will.
It flares in love, it sears in pain,
It leaves behind a sacred stain.
Some try to cage it, call it shame,
To hide its cry, to dim its flame.
But souls are forged in sacred fire,
Not meant for chains, but to inspire.
So guard it well, this ember deep—
The part of you the stars still keep.
For when all else begins to fade,
The soul still burns, undimmed, unscathed.
