Poem: Home Is in Your Soul

You search for roofs beneath the sky,
For walls where quiet dreams may lie,
But bricks and beams can never hold
The warmth you carry, strong and bold.

The silence deep when no one’s near,
The whispered truths you long to hear—
They echo not through halls or stone,
But in your soul, where you’re alone.

No front door key unlocks this gate,
No city line, no twist of fate.
Your refuge isn’t made of clay,
It walks with you, it does not stay.

For home is not a single place,
But how you breathe, and speak with grace.
It’s found in love you choose to give,
In every moment that you live.

So when you’re lost or feel unknown,
Sit still, and let your soul be shown.
You’ll find in there a hearth, a goal—
For home is quiet in your soul.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
