Poem: Long Into the Night

When daylight fades and colors blend,
The sky unfolds, no need to pretend.
Stars awaken, soft and bright,
Whispering secrets long into the night.

The moon, a guardian pale and wise,
Watches over tired eyes.
Breezes hum a quiet tune,
Dancing beneath the silver moon.

Thoughts drift far like autumn leaves,
Carried by the midnight breeze.
Dreams take flight on silent wings,
Exploring all the night-time brings.

Shadows stretch, then fade away,
As darkness gently melts to gray.
A world renewed in calm and light,
Promising dawn just out of sight.

Long into the night we roam,
Finding peace, a place called home.
In the stillness, hearts ignite,
Burning warm, long into the night.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
