Live for Today
The clock hands turn, but never stall,
The past has gone, beyond recall.
Tomorrow’s mist is far away—
So hold your breath, and live today.
The sky may cloud, the winds may shift,
But even storms can bear a gift.
Each heartbeat drums a fleeting chance,
To laugh, to love, to leap, to dance.
Don’t save your joy for distant years,
Or trade the now for future fears.
This sunrise blooms just once, then fades,
So walk in light, not in the shades.
Say what you mean, forgive, begin,
Let boldness rise from deep within.
No need to wait for stars to shine—
The moment’s gold, and it is mine.
So take this breath, and make it stay—
Don’t wait for life—live it today.
