Poem: Time to Take Your Place in This World

The dawn has come, the light is near,
No more hiding behind your fear.
The winds are shifting, bold and free—
A voice is calling: “Come, just be.”

No map can draw the path you tread,
No script can speak the words you’ve said.
You are the thunder in the storm,
The pulse that breaks the quiet norm.

You’ve watched, you’ve waited, held your fire,
Now rise and walk your line of wire.
Each step you take, the ground will know—
The roots will bloom, the rivers flow.

The world is not some distant stage
For only kings or saints or sage.
It needs your light, your flaws, your flame,
Your whispered truth, your untold name.

So stand—unfinished, raw, alive—
This moment yours, you will arrive.
No more delay, no flag unfurled—
It’s time to take your place in this world.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
