The sea within us never sleeps,
It rises, falls, it laughs, it weeps.
Each swell a lesson, soft or wild,
Each storm a teacher, fierce yet mild.
The tide may pull your heart away,
And scatter dreams like ocean spray,
But trust the rhythm, deep and true—
The waves know more than me or you.
Let go the need to steer each crest,
For even chaos has its rest.
Breathe with the current, flow with grace,
There’s light beneath the darkest place.
When breakers crash, just close your eyes,
Feel Spirit move through sea and skies.
You are the water, wind, and foam—
The boundless depth that calls you home.
So ride, dear soul, through joy and strife,
The ocean is the song of life.
And when you reach the still, calm shore,
You’ll see—you were the wave, and more.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,
