Guided Meditation: Healing a Soul Wound
Begin by finding stillness.
Sit or lie down somewhere quiet. Let your body soften.
Close your eyes, and take a deep, full breath in through your nose.
Hold it gently… and exhale through your mouth.
Again, inhale — drawing in calm, steady air —
and exhale — letting go of anything heavy.
Let your breath settle into its natural rhythm.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest.
Feel the ground beneath you holding you, supporting you.
You are safe here. You are home in this moment.
🕊️ Turning Inward
Now, bring your attention inward.
Imagine your awareness as a soft light, glowing in the center of your chest —
the place where your soul speaks in whispers.
Notice this light.
Notice how it flickers — steady, gentle, alive.
If there is a place within you that feels wounded,
you may feel it as a heaviness, a tightness, a shadow.
Do not turn away.
Simply notice it.
You are not here to judge it — only to witness.
Say silently to yourself:
“I see you. I am willing to understand you.”
Let your breath touch this place —
as if your breath could reach inside and soothe the ache.
Each inhale brings in light.
Each exhale releases a little bit of pain.
🌸 Meeting the Wound with Compassion
Now imagine that your inner light grows stronger, warmer, brighter.
It expands from your heart outward —
filling your whole body, like sunrise filling a valley.
This light is unconditional love — your own soul’s medicine.
Let it surround the wound gently, the way sunlight warms cold soil.
Whisper silently:
“You are allowed to heal. You are allowed to rest.”
You might feel emotion rise — sadness, relief, gratitude.
Whatever comes, let it move through you.
Feel it flow, release, dissolve.
Healing doesn’t erase the past; it transforms how it lives within you.
🌿 Integration
Now imagine your inner light connecting to the world around you —
to the air, the earth, the stars above.
You are part of something vast and alive.
You are never truly broken, never truly alone.
Let this knowing settle in your heart:
“I am whole. I am healing. I am peace.”
Take a few more deep breaths —
inhaling wholeness, exhaling release.
When you’re ready, begin to return to your body —
feel your fingers, your toes, the rhythm of your breath.
And when it feels right, gently open your eyes.
💫 Closing Reflection
Sit quietly for a moment.
Notice how your heart feels — softer, lighter, more open.
Remember: healing is not a single moment.
It’s a journey of returning to your own light, again and again.
“Each breath is a step toward home.”
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,
