Guided Meditation: Connection to the Moon

Begin by finding stillness.
Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Let your spine lengthen naturally, your shoulders soften, your jaw unclench.
Close your eyes.
Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose…
and exhale gently through your mouth.

Feel your body settle into the surface beneath you.
With each breath, release a little more tension—
from your legs, your belly, your hands, your face.
You are safe. You are grounded. You are here.

Now, bring your attention upward—to the sky above you, vast and open.
In your mind’s eye, imagine the night unfolding.
A deep indigo sky, soft and endless,
and there, rising gently, is the moon.

See her light.
Silver, glowing, ancient and calm.
She does not rush, she does not demand—
she simply is, radiant and steady.

As you breathe in, imagine drawing her light toward you.
Let it pour into you like cool, liquid silver.
Feel it wash over your skin,
illuminate your heart,
fill every corner of your being with quiet peace.

Breathe out, and release all that no longer serves you—
old worries, tired thoughts, shadows ready to dissolve.
The moon receives them without judgment.
She transforms them into stillness, into wisdom, into light.

Now, imagine a soft thread of light connecting your heart to the moon.
This thread pulses gently with each breath—
a reminder that you are part of her rhythm,
her cycle, her constant renewal.

If it’s the new moon, feel the invitation of new beginnings.
If it’s the full moon, feel the fullness of your own growth and gratitude.
If she is waning or waxing, know that change is natural—
that you, too, are allowed to ebb and flow.

Sit in this connection for a few breaths.
Let her light guide you inward,
to the still, glowing place inside yourself
that has always been there—
calm, eternal, and luminous.

When you’re ready, take one last deep breath in…
and gently exhale.
Bring your awareness back to your body,
the sounds around you, the feeling of the air on your skin.

Carry this moonlight within you.
Know that you can return to it anytime—
for clarity, for peace, for reflection.

And when you open your eyes,
remember: the moon is always watching,
always shining—
even when unseen. 🌙

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,
