You Are What You Seek
You wander wide for signs and stars,
Through doors untried, through wounds and scars,
You chase the light, the secret key—
But what you seek is what you be.
You search for peace in quiet streams,
For love in others, truth in dreams,
For proof that you are not too weak—
Yet every proof is you who speak.
The mountain waits, but so do you,
A mirror sky, a boundless view.
No path begins, no ending bleak—
For you are found in what you seek.
So pause the hunt, release the call,
The seeker, sought, the self, the all.
When longing whispers soft and meek—
Listen close: you are what you seek.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,
Brenda Marie
