A Pet’s Love
In quiet steps upon the floor,
A faithful friend comes through the door.
With shining eyes and gentle grace,
Each day they greet a weary face.
No words are said—none need to be,
For love is felt so easily.
A nuzzle soft, a joyful leap,
A promise made, forever deep.
Through darkest nights or brightest days,
They warm our hearts in countless ways.
A loyal soul, so small, so true—
The world feels kinder next to you.
Oh tender bond no time can break,
A love we give, a love we take.
In furry form from up above,
There lives the purest kind of love.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,
Brenda Marie
