Poem: Dawn of a New Day

Softly, the night folds its wings
and slips behind the trembling hills,
while morning lifts a golden breath
to warm the world it gently fills.

A hush—then birds proclaim the light,
each note a spark in rising air;
the sky blushing into amber hues,
a promise whispered everywhere.

The shadows stretch, then fall away,
like memories that lose their weight;
the earth awakens, washed in hope,
renewed by time, released from fate.

And in this quiet, tender glow,
we find the courage to begin—
for every dawn, a doorway stands,
inviting us to step within.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
