Poem: Learn to Forgive

Learn to forgive—
not because the hurt was small,
but because your heart is wide
and deserves to breathe again.

Let anger slip
like dusk behind the hills,
and watch the light return
in colors you forgot.

Forgiveness isn’t forgetting—
it’s choosing not to carry
what was breaking you
on a road meant for your peace.

So loosen your hands,
release the old ache,
and step forward lighter—
a soul newly willing to heal.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
