Love Is Soul Deep
Love is soul deep,
not measured by hands or hours,
but by the quiet way two hearts
learn the same rhythm.
It lives beneath words,
in pauses that feel safe,
in glances that understand
what voices cannot carry.
It is not loud like storms,
but steady like roots—
growing where no one sees,
holding even when shaken.
Love is soul deep
when it chooses kindness on hard days,
when it stays curious,
when it listens without trying to fix.
It is the echo of I see you,
the courage to be real,
the warmth of being known
and still being wanted.
Love is soul deep—
not perfect, not fragile,
but real enough to last
where only truth can live.

This is breathtaking, Brenda. 🌷🤝 You didn’t just describe love; you gave its quiet, resilient heartbeat a language. The line ‘steady like roots—growing where no one sees’ is one I’ll carry with me. Thank you for this profound and beautiful piece💐
Thank you so much for these generous words. 🌷
It means a great deal to know the piece resonated with you, especially that line—it came from a very quiet, honest place. I’m grateful you took the time to read so deeply and share what it stirred in you. 💐
