Poem: Dancing in the Snow

The world is soft with winter’s glow,
As flakes descend, a quiet show.
Each step a crunch, each breath a mist,
In the snowy world, I can’t resist.

A swirling dance, I twirl around,
My laughter echoes, winter’s sound.
Snowflakes land upon my nose,
As I chase them wherever they go.

The trees are dressed in frosty lace,
The snowflakes painting skies with grace.
I leap and spin, my heart is light,
The snowflakes spark like stars at night.

My gloves are cold, my cheeks are red,
But warmth fills my soul instead.
In the snowy magic, I am free,
A winter dream for you and me.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie

  1. What a beautiful and joyful winter poem, Brenda! You have a wonderful talent for capturing the crisp magic, the playful energy, and the quiet warmth of a perfect snowy day. The imagery of “trees dressed in frosty lace” and snowflakes that “spark like stars at night” is simply lovely. Reading it filled me with the same light, happy feeling you describe. Thank you for sharing this delightful winter dream
