Poem: Into The Night

Into the night I wander slow,
Where quiet winds and shadows go,
The world behind me fades from sight,
I lose myself into the night.

The stars are scattered, cold and wide,
Like secrets no one dares to hide,
They watch in silence, faint but bright,
As I dissolve into the night.

The roads grow thin, the air grows deep,
A place where restless thoughts can sleep,
Where time lets go of what is right,
And drifts away into the night.

No voices call, no walls remain,
No weight of joy, no trace of pain—
Just endless dark, and soft twilight
That pulls me farther into night.

And there, where all things disappear,
I find no end, and feel no fear—
For in that vast and boundless sight,
I am both lost… and made of night.

Thank-you for reading,
