Life is a game with unwritten rules,
No manual given, no perfect tools.
You roll the dice with each new day,
Choosing your path as you find your way.
Some chase the points, the praise, the win,
Wearing bright masks, hiding within.
But the truest players, steady and wise,
Don’t trade their soul for a grand disguise.
There are levels of doubt, and bosses of fear,
Moments you’ll falter, wishing things were clear.
But strength isn’t found in never falling apart—
It’s learning to play with an honest heart.
Collect what matters: love, not gold,
Stories of courage quietly told.
For the game moves fast, then fades from view,
And the only high score is being you.
Thank-you for reading.

Brenda, this is beautifully said. I love how you capture the quiet wisdom of staying true to yourself in a world that often rewards the opposite. ‘Don’t trade their soul for a grand disguise’ — that line really stays with me. Thank you for this gentle, powerful reminder.🌷🤝
Thank you so much for your kind words—they truly mean a lot. I’m really touched that that particular line stayed with you. It’s such a quiet but important reminder, especially in moments when it feels easier to be anything but ourselves.
I’m grateful the message resonated with you in that way. Sometimes the gentlest truths are the ones we need most.
You are most welcome Brenda 🤝
