Poem: A Walk in the Park

The morning sun begins to glow,
As gentle breezes softly blow.
Along the path I take my way,
Enjoying nature’s bright display.

The birds sing songs from branch to tree,
Their cheerful notes float wild and free.
The flowers bloom in every shade,
A colorful and lovely parade.

Children laugh and runners pass,
While sunlight dances on the grass.
The world feels peaceful, calm, and bright,
Filled with wonder and delight.

I pause beside a quiet lake,
To watch the ripples gently wake.
Then with a smile I wander on,
Until the golden day is gone.

Thank-you for reading.
