In the shadow of the setting sun,
I finally learned to let go, to run
From the chains of yesterday’s sorrow,
And embrace a new dawn tomorrow.
I released the anger and the pain,
Letting go of what I couldn’t regain.
I opened my heart to forgiveness,
And found peace in the midst of wilderness.
It’s not easy, this process of release,
But it’s necessary for inner peace.
To unburden the soul, let love flow free,
And let go of what was never meant to be.
So I stand here now, with open arms,
Ready to embrace life’s endless charms.
Learning to let go, to surrender control,
And trust that the universe has a bigger goal.
Letting go is not a sign of weakness,
But a courageous act of self-awareness.
So I bid farewell to the past’s heavy weight,
And step boldly into the unknown fate.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and light,
Brenda Marie
