In the darkest hours of life,
Your light shines so brightly
It is a star in the night.
Your light gives me hope,
When I am consumed with fright.
When I am lost amongst
the forest of trees
Your light guides me through.
When I am miserable and blue,
And I see no resolution to the pain.
Your rare flicker of light
Shines through the darkness.
It pushes me see
There is hope to continue on.
In times of extreme despair,
I receive your light there
It comforts me get through
The most challenging of times.
I Know your light will always
Be there to oversee me.
