Food to eat, but no meat.
Old car to drive, but gets me there.
Old house to live in but everything works.
Pain in my legs, but I can still stand on my feet.
Still working hard to get where I want to be.
I can finally see things coming together.
I walk outside and see the trees.
I can still bend my knees.
Little dog at my side.
My heart filled with pride.
I worked hard to get to where I am.
But I did it my way, I am happy to say.
Learning many lessons along the way.
Looking back on my life
The road was not always easy.
But I never gave up hope.
Love of life has always been with me.
Looking upon the wonders of the world
Wondering does everyone see
The love of life that they should.

A lovely poem about the strength of a positive attitude. Life is never perfect, and yet there is so much to be thankful for. ❤
