I love photo challenges. They are very inspiring. It has been a long time since I have written much of anything. Life just got in the way. When I saw
Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Photo Challenge #419. I could not resist the challenge.

Longing to Touch Mother Earth
So soft and green
I longed for you.
But, life would not
Let me near you.
Extremely unavailable
To share in your beauty.
To feel your touch.
Mother Earth, I long to
Reconnect with you.
I must give in
To the cries
From within.
You’re beautiful
I cannot resist.
I finally feel
Your touch
Once more.
Thank-you Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie for this challenge
