Writing Through the Soul: How it Began

Writing Through the Soul How it Began

Writing through the soul how it began. Ever since I have been a little girl, I loved to write. Writing has been a lifelong passion. I started sharing my work online in 2005. Thanks to some wonderful ladies, I learn how to write articles and do freelance writing. Thanks to all the wonderful ladies from Squidoo, you know who you are.

For about ten years, I was a freelance writer. I became unhappy with it. I missed writing articles about things I enjoyed and I missed writing poetry. So, I started blogging. It took me some time to figure out my niches. Having had several blogs over the years. Writing has always been my childhood dream and I love to write.

I moved in 2019. Realizing I had hundreds of journals filled with a lifetime of poetry. I published a book of my poetry. Writing Through the Soul. I self-published the book. It wasn’t perfect. I plan on republishing it in the future.

I wanted to start a blog about writing and needed a name. My husband loved the title of my book Writing Through the Soul. He thought it would be a glorious name for a blog about writing. That is how I came up with the name for this blog.

Writing Through the Soul Making the Time

There is a lot in my life that keeps me away from writing. I have not been too happy with my writing consistency since we moved. Not writing is not good for me. Poetry heals the soul. When I am not writing, I feel like something is missing. I am one of those people who needs to write to feel complete.

Making time for writing isn’t easy for me. Realizing I needed to make the time, no matter what, was an enormous step for me. It took me a long time to discover things don’t have to be perfect and I can make time for what I love. Writing Through the soul is the perfect step. I am sure I will write articles for The Spiritual Mystic again. But, right now, poetry and writing through the soul is what I need.

Thank-you for reading,

Much love and Light
