This week Colleen gives us a photo challenge. This lovely beach photo by, Terri Webster Schrandt, from secondwindleisure.com . I have decide to try something new this time around a choka.
Golden sand stretches
Along the endless coastline
Waves crash and retreat
Seagulls dance in the blue sky
A symphony of nature
Children build castles
With buckets and shovels in hand
Laughter fills the air
As they chase the rolling waves
Their joy contagious and pure
Couples stroll hand in hand
Leaving footprints in the sand
Whispering sweet words
Underneath the setting sun
Love blossoms by the ocean
Surfers ride the waves
With grace and determination
Finding their balance
In the rhythm of the sea
A dance of strength and freedom
The beach is alive
With the sound of crashing waves
And the salty breeze
A sanctuary for the soul
Where worries are washed away
As the day comes to end
And the sun dips below the horizon
The beach remains still
A tranquil haven of peace
Until the dawn breaks anew.
