Poem: A Mother’s Heartache

In the depths of a mother’s heartache,
A sorrow too heavy to bear,
Lies a son in need of comfort,
But she can’t find solace there.

With tear-filled eyes and trembling hands,
She clings to hope’s fading light,
Desperate to heal her beloved child,
But her efforts seem lost in the night.

She sees the struggle etched on his face,
The weight of the world on his shoulders,
But despite her love and endless prayers,
Her power to help him slowly smolders.

Oh, the agony of a mother’s plight,
When she touches can’t ease his pain,
She longs to guide him through the dark,
But her efforts seem all in vain.

Her heart aches with every tear he sheds,
With every battle he fights alone,
She dreams of catching him when he falls,
But it seems her hands have turned to stone.

Yet in this darkness, she finds a strength,
A love that transcends her own plight,
With unwavering faith, she’ll never give up,
And she’ll fight for him with all her might.

She may not have all the answers,
Or the power to heal him within,
But her love will serve as a guiding light,
To show him the way, when his heart feels thin.

And though the road ahead may be rough,
And the future may still remain unclear,
A mother’s love has no limitations,
And her spirit will always be near.

So, she’ll continue to pray and to hope,
With a love that can never be undone,
For even when she can’t help her son,
Her love will forever be his sanctuary, her eternal sun.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and light,

Many blessings to all.
