Poem: Sure of One’s Self

Sure of one’s self,
A radiant aura of confidence.
With every step, a stride so bold,
A sight that commands reverence.

No doubts cloud the mind,
No hesitations to be found.
A firm belief in the soul,
An unwavering footing on the ground.

In every word, conviction resonates,
Each action holds purpose and drive.
With unwavering focus, goals pursued,
And determination that will revive.

Like a beacon in the darkest night,
A guiding light for all to see.
Certain sure of one’s self,
A testament of what one can be.

But let not this assurance blind,
To the flaws and faults within.
For true strength is in humble hearts,
And acknowledging the depth of one’s skin.

For in every stumble lies growth,
And in vulnerability, strength is found.
Ego diminishes, empathy grows,
A wisdom that does truly astound.

So let us be certain sure of ourselves,
But also open to growth and change.
With a balance of confidence and humility,
Boundless potential we can arrange.

Thank-you for reading.

Many blessings to all.

Much love and light,

Brenda Marie
