Poem: Need to Recharge

In this moment of exhaustion,
Where my energy has been drained,
I yearn for a divine intervention,
To soothe this tired brain.

I need to recharge my spirit,
Like a fading, flickering light,
Worn down by daily demands,
I long for restful respite.

Let me find solace in solitude,
Within the embrace of nature’s grace,
Withdraw from the world’s chaos,
And its relentless, hectic pace.

Grant me the quiet of a starry night,
Where the moon’s glow softly gleams,
A gentle breeze to brush my face,
As I wander through peaceful dreams.

May the tranquil sea waves wash away,
The burdens that weigh upon my soul,
Revitalizing my weary heart,
Making me once again feel whole.

I seek the comfort of a cozy nook,
With a good book and calming tea,
Lost in stories of another world,
Where my mind can wander free.

Oh, how I yearn for moments,
Of stillness and sweet serenity,
To recharge my worn-out spirit,
And restore my vitality.

In these moments of much-needed rest,
I’ll find the strength to carry on,
Recharged, renewed, and ready,
To face the challenges before me, strong.

Thank-you for reading.

Many Blessings to all.

Much love and light,

Brenda Marie
