Poem: Heal the Heart

In a world where sorrow dwells,
Where broken dreams and tales are told,
There lies a darkness in our souls,
Yearning for peace to behold.

Let us heal the heart, I plea,
With gentle words and empathy,
A soothing touch and heartfelt care,
To mend the wounds that linger there.

For every tear that’s ever shed,
For every pain that’s left unsaid,
We’ll offer solace, love, and grace,
To bring light into the darkest space

With tender whispers, hear the plea,
From those whose hearts long to be free,
Embrace their burdens, share their strife,
And breathe new hope back into life.

For in the mending of one’s heart,
We heal the world, we play our part,
Each act of compassion, no matter how small,
Can bring healing to one and all.

So let us be the hands that mend,
The hearts that break, the souls that rend,
With kindness as our guiding light,
Together, we can make things right.

Let love’s embrace be our art,
As we come together, and heal the heart.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
