Poem: Speak Your Mind

your mind, let your thoughts take flight,
As a bird soaring high in the open sky,
Don’t be silenced, don’t be confined,
Let your words echo, loud and wild.

For too long, we’ve held our tongues,
Afraid of the backlash, afraid we’re wrong,
But our thoughts are a flame, burning bright,
It’s time to set the world alight.

Speak your mind, let it be heard,
In a world where voices are often blurred,
For your words have power, they can ignite,
A spark that can change the darkest night.

Don’t be afraid to be who you are,
To let your voice carry near and far,
For it’s through our differences we thrive,
And through unity, we shall survive.

Speak your mind, even when it’s tough,
When the world seems harsh and rough,
For in your truth lies a strength untold,
A courage that can never be sold.

So let your words dance upon your lips,
Release them with passion, let them eclipse,
The doubts and fears that hold you back,
And set your soul on a fiery track.

Speak your mind, for in doing so,
You’ll inspire others to let their voices grow,
Together, a chorus of truth we’ll find,
In a world where we’re finally unafraid to speak our mind.
