Poem: Speak From the Heart

In this world of noise and words so countless,
Amidst the chaos, let your voice be soundless,
For it is not with words that you’ll impart,
But with the language of the deepest heart.

Speak not of empty thoughts and hollow dreams,
But let your words be like a flowing stream,
With every syllable, let love resound,
And let your truth and wisdom, then be found.

Speak not to please or gain fleeting acclaim,
But to ignite a fire within each frame,
Let your words be seeds, to inspire and grow,
To lift the spirit, to help others glow.

Speak not for the sake of being heard,
But to truly be understood, undisturbed,
For it is in the silence that we find,
The words that echo deeply, intertwined.

Speak not with anger, bitterness or strife,
But with compassion, grace, and endless life,
May your words be kind, healing every scar,
Guiding lost souls and leading them to star.

Speak not in haste, but choose each word with care,
For once spoken out, they scatter in the air,
Let your words be blessings, gifts from above,
Uniting hearts, embracing all in love.

So, let your voice be humble, strong, and true,
A vessel for the universe to flow through,
And may your words, like echoes from the start,
Resonate forever, speaking from the heart.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
