Poem: Break Free

In the shadows, I once stood,
Chained by fears and misunderstood.
Restrained by doubts, I couldn’t see,
The strength that resided deep within me.

But with each passing day, a fire burned strong,
The desire to break free and prove them wrong.
No longer would I be held by their words,
I’d rise above, like a soaring bird.

I shed the weight of my past mistakes,
Embracing the unknown, whatever it takes.
For the world is vast, full of endless charms,
Waiting for me to embrace it with open arms.

No longer would I let fear dictate my path,
I’d chase after dreams, no matter the aftermath.
A new chapter began, filled with hope,
As I broke free from the chains that held me in mope.

With every leap, my spirit soared high,
No longer confined, no longer shy.
I danced with joy on the edge of chance,
Since I learned that in life, you have to take a stance.

So here I stand, no longer bound,
With newfound strength, I am unbound.
The doubts may linger, but I won’t succumb,
For in breaking free, I’ve become someone.

Someone who dares to dream and explore,
To embrace the unknown and strive for more.
With each step forward, I’ll leave a mark,
A testament to the power of the human spark.

So break free, my friend, from the chains that bind,
