Poem: Stop Hiding

Stop hiding your voice, let it be heard,
For in silence unseen, your truth is blurred.
Don’t let fear cripple, your words left unsaid,
For your voice holds power, like a rocket widespread.

Don’t deny your voice, out of fear to offend,
For what use is a voice, if it cannot transcend?
Do not let the whispers of doubt keep you small,
Let your voice soar high, let it stand tall.

Speak with conviction, with passion and fire,
And let your words resonate, like a heavenly choir.
For hiding your voice only dims your light,
But when you speak your truth, darkness takes flight.

Don’t be afraid to challenge, to question, to move,
For your voice can inspire, can ignite and improve.
Don’t tiptoe around, for fear of causing pain,
For truth in its essence, is never in vain.

Remember, your voice can spark change in the air,
It can bring healing, comfort, and show that you care.
So don’t be silent, let your voice be strong,
And together, we’ll create a world where all belong.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
