Poem: Mother Nature Forgives

In the heart of Mother Earth, a tale unfolds,
Of a world once vibrant, now torn and cold.
For through the ages, humanity spread,
Their greed and destruction, a path they tread.

The meadows once lush, now trampled and bare,
The rivers once clear, choked with despair.
The forests that stood tall, now stumps remain,
A testament to humanity’s reckless gain.

But Nature, steadfast and resilient to the core,
Watches the chaos, with love and hope in store.
For amidst the ruins, a secret yet unknown,
Of forgiveness whispered, in every leaf blown.

With every crack of thunder and gentle breeze,
Nature whispers, “Humanity, be at ease.
Though you have wreaked havoc, upon this domain,
There is still a chance, for redemption to regain.”

The sun shines bright, casting a forgiving light,
As the rain washes away, the sins of the sight.
The birds serenade, a song of second chance,
As flowers bloom anew, in a joyful dance.

The oceans, vast and deep, harbor forgiveness within,
Their mighty waves carrying dreams, hopes, and sins.
For even amidst the pollution, they whisper, “Arise,
Heed the lessons learned, let compassion arise.”

Nature’s embrace, so gentle and pure,
Invites humanity to rise and endure.
To walk hand in hand, with a solemn vow,
To protect the land, starting right here, right now.

For Nature, the eternal mother, encourages the way,
To restore the balance, in every night and day.
In the forgiving arms of this living earth,
Humanity can find solace, and reclaim its worth.

So let us behold the wisdom of the stars,
And see the beauty Nature still restores.
For in her forgiving nature, a lesson bestowed,
To cherish her gifts, before they erode.

Let us emerge from the shadows of dismay,
And salvage the remnants, before they fade away.
For Nature forgives, if we change our course,
And embrace her with love, remorse, and force.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie

  2. Brenda Marie, you are brave to post a poem about your beliefs. Forgive me, but I think you are depressed. There are many fine people working on cleaning the oceans and every other challenge you could name. I hope you may be encouraged by some of the positive news that is offered. Blessings to you–
