Poem: Peace on Earth

In harmony, we stand as one,

Brotherhood of love, the world has won.

No more strife, no more endless fight,

Only peace, shining like a beacon light.

 

The wars that raged, the tears that fell,

The innocent lives, the endless bell.

But now we seek, a brighter way,

To live in peace, each new day.

 

In every heart, a spark takes flight,

As love and kindness, banish the night.

We learn to listen, to understand and see,

The beauty in our differences, set free.

 

From mountains high to valleys wide,

From cities bustling to rural sides,

We’ll bridge the gaps, we’ll heal the pain,

And bring peace on earth, like a gentle rain.

 

In every step, we’ll take the path,

Of compassion, empathy, and gentle breath.

We’ll choose to forgive, to love and be kind,

And bring peace on earth, a dream we’ll find.

 

So let us rise, and let our voices be heard,

For peace on earth, our hearts have yearned.

Let us walk together, hand in hand,

And bring peace on earth, to this promised land.
