In the quiet of the evening’s grace,
Where shadows dance and memories trace,
May gentle whispers soothe the soul,
And time’s embrace makes the broken whole.
In the garden where the tears have flown,
Where grief and love have deeply grown,
May blossoms of remembrance bloom,
And light dispels the darkest gloom.
For every heart that bears the ache,
And every dream that night would take,
May comfort find its tender way,
To mend the wounds and guide the day.
In every sunset’s soft, warm hue,
And every dawn’s renewing view,
May you find the strength to mend,
And in your heart, love’s light transcends.
Though the loss may seem too great to bear,
Know that you are held in care,
And though the pain may ebb and flow,
The love remains, forever grows.
So let the stars your vigil keep,
And in their light, your heart shall sleep,
For those who’ve gone, though far from sight,
Are close within the silent night.
May healing grace your weary mind,
And peace in every breath you find,
Until the day we all are free,
Together in eternity.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
Brenda Marie
