Poem: A Mother’s Silent Prayer

In the quiet of the night, she weeps,
For a son whose mind drifts far and deep,
A storm within, unseen, unknown,
A battle fought, but not alone.

She watches as his spirit fades,
In shadows where her sunlight strayed,
Her heart, a vessel, holds his grief,
Seeking solace, seeking relief.

Each tear she sheds, a silent plea,
For peace to find him, set him free,
A wish to take his pain away,
To guide him back to brighter days.

But in her soul, a tender light,
She holds him close with all her might,
Through darkest hours, through endless strain,
She whispers love to soothe the pain.

Though lost, he seems in depths so wide,
A mother’s love will be his guide,
In hope, she waits, her heart remains,
A beacon through his darkest pains.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
