Poem: We Were Not Meant to Suffer!

We were not meant to suffer,
not in the way the world insists—
to break beneath the weight of sorrow,
to drown in the abyss.

We were not meant for endless night,
nor bound to chains of fear.
Our hearts were born to seek the light,
to find the dawn so near.

In every tear, a seed is sown,
in every wound, a bloom.
We rise from pain, not to be crushed,
but to leave behind the gloom.

We were not meant to suffer,
but to learn, to grow, to mend—
to turn each scar into a story,
and each ending to a friend.

For in the dance of joy and grief,
we find our truest grace.
We were not meant to suffer,
but to rise and find our place.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
