Let go, let go, the echoes fade,
The chains that held you, once tightly made.
The shadows long, the weight you bore,
No longer bind you to their shore.
The past is gone, a distant land,
Its touch no longer stays your hand.
Breathe deep, breathe slow, and set it free,
For you deserve serenity.
The wounds, they healed, though scars remain,
A map of strength born out of pain.
But now, you rise, with wings untied,
No longer tethered to what has died.
The sun is new, the sky is clear,
The future calls, the way is near.
Release the past, it’s time to fly,
And soar beneath a freer sky.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and light,
Brenda Marie
