In the quiet hours, when shadows fade,
I turned within, where dreams are laid.
A mirror held my gaze so true,
Reflecting back a heart anew.
With every flaw, a story spun,
A tapestry of battles won.
The scars I wore, like badges bright,
Taught me the beauty of my light.
In whispered doubts, I found my voice,
A gentle strength, a vital choice.
To cherish all that makes me whole,
To embrace the depths within my soul.
I danced with shadows, laughed with grace,
Found solace in my own embrace.
Each breath a promise, soft and sweet,
In loving self, my heart’s complete.
No longer seeking love outside,
I hold my truth, my heart, my guide.
In this reflection, I’ve come to see,
The greatest love is loving me.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
Brenda Marie
