In the quiet hum of a fading light,
Words unfurl like leaves in autumn’s flight.
Each stroke of the pen, a tender embrace,
A dance of ideas, a soft, sacred space.
With every syllable, the heart takes a leap,
Ink spills like secrets, promises to keep.
The page, a canvas where dreams intertwine,
Crafting a world that’s uniquely divine.
The thrill of a thought that sparks in the night,
A whisper of passion, a flicker of light.
Characters breathe, their stories unfold,
In the warmth of the ink, their truths are retold.
Let me wander where wild muses play,
Through valleys of metaphor, skies painted gray.
Each stanza a heartbeat, each line a sigh,
In the love of the written, I long to fly.
So here’s to the moments when silence gives way,
To the symphony crafted in glorious array.
In the embrace of my thoughts, I find my own tune—
Falling in love with the words, beneath the bright moon.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
Brenda Marie
