Poem: Turning Gold

Fifty years, a golden span,
A journey marked by heart and hand.
With each new chapter, every year,
She’s gathered wisdom, faced her fears.

The laughter lines, the silver strands,
Are medals earned from life’s demands.
Through trials, triumphs, joy and strife,
She’s danced the dance of vibrant life.

The girl she was, still burns inside,
But now a woman full of pride.
She’s learned to trust the path she’s made,
To savor each new dawn’s cascade.

Fifty candles, softly glow,
A life that’s rich, with room to grow.
With strength and grace, she turns the page,
A timeless beauty, born of age.

Not bound by years, nor tied by time,
She’s a mountain, steady, and sublime.
And as she steps into the light,
She shines as bright as stars at night.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
