Poem: The Power Within

Beneath the skin, a spark ignites,
A fire burning in the quiet nights.
Not seen by eyes or felt by touch,
Yet it stirs the heart, it means so much.

In shadows deep, it softly grows,
A strength that only spirit knows.
A whisper first, then louder still,
A force that bends the world to its will.

It’s in the pause before we act,
The courage found when dreams are cracked.
It’s every tear, each quiet prayer,
A faith that rises from despair.

No crown, no throne, no gold to show,
Yet in the soul, its currents flow.
The power lies not in the might,
But in the will to stand, to fight.

Through storms and silence, trials and sin,
There lies a voice—the power within.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
