Poem: Rediscover Your Essence

Rediscover Your Essence

In the quiet whispers of the dawn,
Where shadows stretch, then swiftly gone,
There lies a truth, soft as a sigh,
A part of you that never dies.

Beneath the layers, life has spun,
The roles you played, the things you’ve done,
There’s a spark that yearns to rise,
A flame that flickers in your eyes.

You are not just the paths you’ve walked,
Or the words you’ve spoken, or the thoughts you’ve chalked.
You are the breath that fills your chest,
The silence where your soul finds rest.

So take a moment, let the world be still,
Find the echo of your heart’s own will.
For in the space between the noise,
You’ll hear the sound of your own voice.

Rediscover what’s been there all along,
The untold story, the ancient song.
You are the river, the sky, the tree—
A timeless being, wild and free.

So shed the weight, the doubt, the stress,
And remember, you are more, you are less—
You are the truth, the love, the light,
Rediscover your essence, and take flight.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
