Poem: Falling Through Forever

Falling through forever, lost in endless skies,
A whisper in the wind, where time and space deny.
The stars are distant dreams, flickering far below,
In a world without beginning, where none can ever know.

The edges blur to nothing, the past no longer stays,
I slip through silent shadows, lost in timeless haze.
No ground beneath my feet, no sky above my head,
Just fragments of eternity, where angels fear to tread.

I reach for something solid, but the void just pulls me in,
A spiral in the silence, where the echoes never spin.
Falling through forever, no beginning, no end,
The endless dark embraces me, a shadow, a friend.

Through colors never spoken, through places never seen,
I drift through cosmic currents, where the stars no longer gleam.
Is this where dreams dissolve, where memories cease to keep?
Or am I simply falling, deeper into endless sleep?

Falling through forever, where time itself expires,
Into a space that’s hollow, yet full of strange desires.
A journey with no answer, no compass, no refrain,
Just falling through the ages, through love, and loss, and pain.

The fall has no conclusion, no echo in the deep,
Only the quiet beauty of a soul that cannot weep.
Falling through forever, suspended in a thread,
A quiet, endless longing, where nothing’s left to dread.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
