Poem: Release the Anger

Release the anger, let it go,
Like raging winds that cease to blow.
Don’t hold it close, don’t keep it tight,
Let it drift into the night.

The fire that burns within your chest,
Give it space, let it rest.
Anger, though fierce, is but a flame,
Flicker and fade, it has no claim.

Breathe deep, feel the calm arise,
See the world through clearer eyes.
The storm will quiet, the skies will clear,
Release the anger, let peace draw near.

No more the weight of bitter rage,
No more the storm that shakes the cage.
Set it free with every sigh,
Let your soul once more fly high.

Release the anger, feel the ease,
Find your power in the peace.
In letting go, you’ll come to see,
True strength is calm, and it’s within thee.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
