Guided Meditation to Cleanse and Balance the Chakras
Find a comfortable space where you can relax without distractions. Sit or lie down in a position that feels natural for you, keeping your spine straight and your body relaxed. Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely. Hold for a moment, and then exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any tension. Continue to breathe deeply and naturally, letting each breath calm your body and mind.
With each breath, feel yourself becoming more present, more centered, and more grounded. Allow your awareness to settle into your body, feeling each part relax and soften.
Root Chakra (Muladhara)
Begin by bringing your attention to the base of your spine, to the area of your root chakra. Visualize a glowing red ball of energy at the base of your spine, radiating warmth and strength. With each inhale, imagine this red energy growing brighter and stronger. With each exhale, release any fear or insecurity that may be blocking this energy center.
Feel yourself anchored to the Earth, supported, safe, and secure. Let go of any tension or worry that is holding you back. With every breath, feel more grounded, more stable, more in control. Trust in your ability to stand strong.
Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)
Now, bring your awareness to the area just below your navel, to your sacral chakra. Visualize a vibrant orange ball of energy glowing there, warm and fluid. With each inhale, this orange light grows brighter, and with each exhale, let go of any shame or guilt that may be blocking this area.
Feel the energy flowing freely through your hips, your lower back, and your reproductive organs. Allow yourself to feel open, creative, and free. Invite in pleasure, joy, and emotional balance. Trust in your ability to express yourself fully and with authenticity.
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)
Move your awareness up to the area of your solar plexus, just above your navel. Visualize a bright, golden-yellow ball of energy spinning there, radiant and powerful. With each inhale, feel the energy in this center grow, becoming more vibrant and strong. With each exhale, release any self-doubt or feelings of powerlessness.
Feel the power within you, your personal strength, your confidence. Let this golden light fill you with the knowledge that you are worthy, capable, and able to create the life you desire. Allow your inner power to flow freely and unapologetically.
Heart Chakra (Anahata)
Now, bring your attention to the center of your chest, to your heart chakra. Visualize a glowing green ball of energy, soft and healing. With each breath, feel the green light expanding and growing brighter. With each exhale, release any emotional pain, hurt, or resentment that may be stored in this area.
Allow your heart to open, inviting in love, compassion, and forgiveness. Feel the love for yourself and for others growing within you, a love that knows no bounds. With every breath, feel your heart growing more open and more expansive, filled with the healing energy of love.
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)
Bring your awareness now to your throat, to your throat chakra. Visualize a bright blue ball of light spinning there, clear and vibrant. With each inhale, feel the energy in this area strengthening and expanding. With each exhale, release any fear of speaking your truth or expressing yourself fully.
Allow your voice to flow freely, knowing that your words carry power, clarity, and authenticity. Feel the freedom in speaking your truth, in being fully heard, and in communicating from your heart.
Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)
Now, bring your attention to the center of your forehead, between your eyebrows, to your third eye chakra. Visualize a deep indigo ball of light glowing there, clear and penetrating. With each inhale, feel the light growing stronger, more vibrant. With each exhale, release any confusion or blocks to your intuition.
Feel your inner vision becoming clearer, your intuition more attuned. Trust in your ability to see beyond the surface, to access your higher wisdom. Allow yourself to open fully to your inner knowing, trusting the guidance that arises from within.
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)
Finally, bring your awareness to the top of your head, to your crown chakra. Visualize a beautiful violet or white light glowing there, expanding upward toward the sky. With each inhale, feel this light becoming brighter, more expansive. With each exhale, release any feelings of disconnection or doubt in your connection to the divine.
Feel the energy from the crown of your head flowing upward, connecting you to the universe, to divine consciousness, to the infinite wisdom that surrounds you. Know that you are a part of something much greater, and that this connection is always available to you.
Balancing All the Chakras
Now, visualize all seven chakras, from your root to your crown, glowing brightly with vibrant energy. See each chakra spinning in perfect harmony, each one balanced and clear. Imagine a stream of light connecting all the chakras, creating a flow of energy that moves freely throughout your entire being.
Feel the energy balancing and aligning, bringing peace, clarity, and vitality to your mind, body, and spirit. Trust that each of your chakras is in perfect harmony, working together to support your overall health and well-being.
Take a deep breath in, feeling the energy of all your chakras fully balanced and cleansed. As you exhale, feel a sense of wholeness, peace, and vitality. You are centered. You are aligned. You are in balance.
Take a moment to sit in the stillness, feeling the harmonious energy within you.
When you are ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment. Wiggle your fingers and toes, and when you’re ready, gently open your eyes, carrying this sense of balance and cleansing with you.
You are whole. You are balanced. You are in alignment.
