Poem: Return to Me

I hope this resonates with you! It’s like a reclaiming of everything you’ve ever given away, reminding yourself of your inherent power. Does this capture the feeling you were going for?

Return to Me

I call to the winds, to the earth, to the sea,
I call back the pieces that once lived in me.
The light that was lost, the fire that waned,
Come back to my heart, no longer restrained.

I’ve scattered my spirit in places unknown,
Given pieces of me to seeds I’ve not sown.
But now, I stand tall, and with clear eyes I see—
All of me, all of me, must return to me.

I reclaim my laughter, my passion, my fight,
I reclaim the shadows, the silence, the night.
The whispers I’ve given, the strength I’ve let go,
Come back to me now, let my power grow.

No longer a prisoner of scattered devotion,
I call back my soul, my deepest emotion.
The energy I’ve given, the dreams I’ve set free,
Are mine to hold—come back to me.

So rise, so flow, so stand in your light,
All that I’ve lost now returns to my sight.
I welcome you back, from every deep part—
All that was mine, now fills my heart.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
