Lost without you, I drift, I fall,
A hollow echo in the hall.
The world moves on, but I stand still,
Chasing shadows, against my will.
The days are long, the nights are cold,
A story left, untold, unsold.
Your voice, a whisper in the air,
A silent prayer, a silent stare.
I search for light, but find no flame,
Without you here, it’s not the same.
Every step I take, unsure,
A heart that aches, forever pure.
Lost without you, I lose my way,
The colors fade, the skies turn gray.
I long for you, for what we knew,
For all the things that we could do.
But though you’re gone, I still hold tight,
To memories that burn so bright.
For even lost, I’ll always find,
A piece of you within my mind.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and light,
Brenda Marie

Especially,

A piece of you within my mind.”
